Due to the rough terrain en route to Volunteer Point you will need to be transported by someone who is authorised to drive the journey. Whilst there is a charge to stay in Volunteer Point house any veterans and their families visiting volunteer point on a day trip are not charged an entry fee to the nature reserve courtesy of the owner.
