Built by Ian Stewart Construction Ltd, the Falklands Veterans Foundation (FVF) opened Liberty Lodge on 3 February 2009. The naming of Liberty Lodge came about when all the school children in Stanley took part in a competition to choose a name for the building. This was very successful, lots of children took part and the name of Liberty Lodge, which was proposed by John Perrens, now a serving officer in the Royal Navy, was chosen.
The FVF assigned the lease of Liberty Lodge to FVF Liberty Lodge FI on 1 November 2023.
Each of our large twin bed rooms are uniquely decorated and designed to provide a relaxing and restful experience. There is a sofa bed in each room making accomodation per room up to three persons. Every room is en-suite and one of the rooms has a walk in bath.
Nestled on the right hand side of Stanley, Liberty Lodge offers a peaceful and serene setting that is perfect for rest and relaxation. Overlooking the harbour with fantastic views it is the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life yet within walking distance of all amenities.
